WANNACRY & CYBER-SECURITY: WHY CRITICALCASE CLIENTS ARE NOT CRYING

A Trend Micro research shows as in Italy during 2016 companies have been hit by many threaths of different nature. 79% of IT managers that have been interviewed reported having experienced a big attack, while 25% claimed having suffered more than 11 attacks, and 9% has been attacked more than 25 times. The study highlights as the major threat in 2016 was ramsonware: 84% of IT directors said have been attacked at least once and 31% have been affected 5 or more times. In second place there’s phishing and then other kinds of malwares, cyber-espionage, attacks that involve employees/former-employees and compromising of account or identities.
